Beyond This Time by Siu Hak

Siu Hak, an eminent Hong Kong illustrator, comic artist and lyricist. He was born in Hong Kong in 1974, graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1996 with a degree in Graphic Design. From 2004 to 2016, his cartoons were featured under the Fake Forensic Science series in the East Touch magazine. They were further edited into a collection of seven comic publications under the same title including characters like Deaf Cat, Bitbit and Harbour Heroes. He has been writing lyrics for many Hong Kong pop singers since 2008.

Three designs includes: “Title of Beyond This Time”, “Weight Machine” and “Lyric of performance theme song, Beyond This Time”.

Theatre Ronin presented and produced a performance “Music Theatre: Beyond This Time” which is based on the story of Jimmy Keung, a renowned movie poster painter. The performance is a tribute to these artists for their effort for the movie industry and the local streetscape. This collaboration is a cross-disciplinary cultural event of the Hong Kong theatre and pop music community.
